Sarah G. Banks Middle School student claims IBJJF Pan Kids Championship
Sarah G. Banks Middle School’s Pavlo Popko took home gold at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) Pan Kids Championships at the end of July in Orlando, Florida.
The Bulldog 8th-grader won the title in the Teen 1 Ultra Heavy Division. Popko’s gym, Atos Jiu-Jitsu, finished second overall throughout the entire event.
The IBJJF Pan Kids Championships welcomed athletes from all over the United States, North and South America, and Europe.
