8th Grade Important Dates

8th grade is such an exciting time as students prepare to transition to high school. There will be many important dates and exciting events to look forward to. You can find more information regarding all of these below. Please considering bookmarking this page to keep up with all the updates. Communication will also occur via Skyward/email to parents/guardians. Please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Danforth with any questions regarding 8th grade events. 

8th grade has many important dates to keep track of as we look ahead to high school. To the right you will see dates regarding scheduling, PSAT 8/9, and testing out at the high school level. 

Parents: please be mindful of these important dates and refrain from scheduling appointments on these dates and times.

High school counselors will visit Banks to discuss the course selection process with all 8th graders.

Monday, March 2, 2026 ~ 6:30 pm

Parent Night at WLW, WLC and WLN where both 8th graders and parents are invited to attend.

Friday, March 6, 2026

Schedule sheets DUE to social studies teachers .

Skyward course selection DUE by 3:00 PM.
